Our Journeys Led Us

Martha McCamy

Meet Martha McCamy

My journey through 20 years of professional experience, motherhood, career and relationship changes, paired with a decade coaching individuals through transition, loss and spiritual crisis have provided me with a deep understanding of the simple but hard task of balancing human “stuff” with our aspirations for freedom, serenity, meaning and purpose. Looking for clues about how to strike this balance I have turned to academia, writers, artists, elders and various wisdom traditions. Informed by experience and study, I believe that coaching or therapy are most effective when practical (simple) solutions are applied to the things that stand in the way of our aspirations. I also believe that symbolic gestures in the form of personal ritual or ceremony can provide a space for our dreams to take form. I honor the right that we all have to be in good relationship with oneself and the world around us.

Tricia Fischer

Meet Tricia Fischer

I am a deeply caring, compassionate, and kind human who cringes at public speaking, and will cry watching a PG movie. I have never enjoyed a haunted house. I am a good humored, down to earth person and you can get me to laugh, easily, even when we are taking on serious work. I believe that the medicine we need is in the work we are willing and able to do on ourselves. Sitting with our grief, trauma, illness, and pain in community or during a therapy or bodywork session has a profound effect on our self-healing mechanisms. I have learned this to be true on my own road to optimal health. I have been in practice for nearly 20 years and have tried on many different modalities. CranioSacral Therapy continues to hold my passion and interest. I learn something new with every client. Our ability to move through and offer healing to ourselves is beautifully fascinating to me.

Kind Words from our Clients

Our Equation for Healing

YOU BRING

Your Essential Self

At our core, every individual is divinely structured. Embracing radical self-acceptance leads to optimal health, and harmonizes mind, body, and spirit. The body inherently knows how to self-heal, guiding us towards self-direction.

+ WE ADD

Holding the Container

By creating a nurturing container that is both safe and brave, we foster heart-centered, client-centered healing. We embrace meaningful self-exploration while recognizing the strength found in community. Our practice underscores the profound interconnectedness of all journeys.

= together, we create

Possibilities for Growth

Journeying through this work together, we co-create a ripple effect of healing; transforming self and touching the lives of those we hold dear. Releasing inner strength allows you the freedom to authentically engage in all aspects of your life, experience inner peace, and continue on a path of boundless growth.

FAQ’s

  • CST is a light touch technique that releases tension patterns stored in the body. CST listens to the body’s needs and how it would like to express, release, open, reclaim, or remove blockages. Pressure may increase to meet you where you need to be met. By listening to the CranioSacral rhythm we can feel where the tension is held in the body.

  • The CranioSacral rhythm is felt by the way cerebrospinal fluid flows or doesn't flow through our bodies. Starting in the brain, and extending down to our sacrum this fluid is moving. Once we tune into the rhythm, we will start to feel where we are compressed or restricted. Using osteopathy techniques, we can decompress, relieve restrictions and bring ourselves back to homeostasis.

  • A CST session can last up to an hour or more. It can be used alone or integrated with other therapies. Experiences from the session are highly individual. You remain fully clothed as you unwind on the treatment table. Sessions are generally deeply relaxing.

  • CST can help relieve a variety of illnesses, pain, and dysfunctions, whether it stems from physical or emotional issues.
